singing in the rain

we had our first good soaking rain in months this week. i know it's been a mixed bag of weather across our country.....feast or famine. here in south carolina it's been hot and dry. i'm talking h-o-t and d-r-y!

when the rain started in earnest i did the "happy dance" to the collective sigh of all the flowers, trees, and little critters. woooooo hooooooo!


somehow i don't think this little guy shared our enthusiasm.
