mother nature has had a serious attitude lately...
the storm night before last was the worst this area has seen
since hurricane hugo made his march across our little hamlet!
as far as i know...there were no personal injuries
but....oh....so many...beautiful...old... trees...
lost.....
trying to navigate around our county has been
like finding your way thru a maze...
road after road is completely blocked...
power lines down...
i've always heard when life deals you a lemon
squeeze it and make lemonade....
maybe we need to use these wisened...old...sentinels
to make furniture.....
