shadow shot sunday #55

i love the smell of rosemary. i've got some planted in urns on both sides of my front steps so when i enter the house i always smell that scent. i also have some mint that jumped ship and now has spread outside the boundaries of the flowerbed. every time i cut grass it's such a pleasure to have the minty smell envelope me as i mulch it back onto the ground. here's my rosemary enjoying a small glimpse of sun.... as it was rainy again much of the week. be sure to check out everyone's shadow shots at hey harriets.

Herbs do bring a nice aroma to the garden. I love the way it smells when I go out to trim them back. Nice shadow.
Thanks for stopping by.

I planted my first herb garden this summer ... keep your fingers crossed for me ... I don't have much of a green thumb.

I love your shadow shot. "feathery" is the perfect word to describe it.

Beautiful! I love Rosemary too, and just planted a pot in our vegetable garden.

The rosemary is a vibrant green with a cool shadow. You've given me the idea to plant some.

I too love the smell of rosemary and struggled for many years dragging it indoors when winters came...enough of that chore, I'll enjoy the smell out of the can...we have little sun too these days of late in Iowa.
