a visual taste of fall.........

 how wonderful....and magical... to walk out this

morning and see my world blanketed in fog.

 my mind immediately went to breezy...crisp

fall mornings.

 fall always evokes an excitement in me...

 flowers curling up for a long winters sleep....

 unlike these poor souls... burnt crisp from this brutal

summer heat.

 even with the mugginess of this sultry summer morning...

 i could feel the breeze from a multitude of  sighs...

from flora and fauna...

 earths creatures....

for this visual taste of fall.....

nature's gifts

experience is never limited,

and it is never complete,

it is an immense sensibility,

a kind of huge spider web

of the finest silken threads

suspended in the chamber of consciousness,

and catching

every air-borne particle

in it's tissue - henry james

we should all try

to experience life

as a small child

full of wonderment

and joy

in the gifts nature gives

to us
