Apache Tears...
What a beautiful way to end the day here in
South Carolina. This sunset just took my breath away.
I think it was Spirits way of compensating for a day that started
out not so good. I planned a trip to Charlotte to pick up an
Apache Tears stone and stopped to fill my gas tank on the
way. A guy in an old beat up Ford F150 backed into my
Tacoma....the end of his bumper hit right behind the passenger
door on the drivers side. I'm sure you can guess who's vehicle
was damaged. When I saw him start to back up I blew the horn
and if he had stopped then he wouldn't have hit me...but...
he didn't! Sure wish I'd already picked up that stone.
"Apache Tears are strong stones for spiritual grounding and they are
also powerful for psychic protection. They will raise your ability
to recognize the approach of menacing situations, where you may be at risk.
Like other types of Black Obsidian... they will absorb negative energy.
This makes Apache Tears powerful tools to cleanse your auric field of negativity."
I hope his insurance (it looked "iffy") will pay to fix my truck...but if not...
I can live with it....sure doesn't look nice...but it runs just fine...
Thank you Spirit for protecting my loved one and myself.

hi Jody, I was whiling away time this morning, reading back on my blog, several years in fact and there was a comment left by you, and that led me here. ( My old blog was somerset seasons, that closed after I was plagued by a blog troll, and i set up my new blog under a new name but importing old content) anyway, i ended up here and your sunset photo is beautiful. I too have had a few bad days in this last week, but have been rewarded with something beautiful from Nature to lift spirits. nature is a wonderful thing!

Oh Leanne.....I'm so glad you found your way here. I've missed reading your blog and only deleted the link to it recently when I revamped my reading list. I can't wait to go back and see how your garden turned out and catch up on your animal children.
I've spent the morning driving thirty miles to the closest Home Center to pick up a new dryer....mine finally gave up this morning...but I can't complain as she's been a good one.
I hope your days improve and you continue to find comfort with all Natures spirits.
Hi jody!
re my animal family-- sadly I lost my beloved Sammydog in august, aged 13. 5 months have passed, and still I grieve for him..Its an awful loss, that of loyal and so-loved friend who was always there. i still have the cats, I cant remember if you ever met the youngest, George, who is now three. i still have hens, and fish and frogs in my pond!
today is Imbolc, and the turning of the wheel towards spring...hopefully a better year ahead to heal the pain of last year...
glad to see you are well...
