this 27th year finds me missing you...

still....

Standing over his grave…
eyes wrenched shut with the wanting of him…
she caught his smell… felt his embrace…
 opened her eyes to find a single feather
 clinging to her tears....

loopty loops among the stardust....

today finds my space cowboy much on my mind...

this day he earned his permanent wings...

sending hugs and kisses his way as he

love pours from heaven....

perhaps they are not the stars

but rather openings in

heaven where the love of

our lost ones pours through

and shines down upon us

to let us know they are

happy.
